Advantis Occupational Health is currently in search of an experienced and professional Occupational Health Nurse with experience in
the Clifton, NJ area. This position is an 18-month contract assignment at 40 hours per week, no weekends or holidays.
Function: To administer professional nursing care to hourly and salaried employees who present with minor to life threatening injuries and illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Unrestricted New Jersey Nursing License
- Current CPR
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Occupational Health Nurse
- Mandatory experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be knowledgeable of medical case management in an occupational health setting, OSHA guidelines, health and wellness promotions and health education and training
- Experience with computer documentation
- Basic knowledge of computer systems (Windows, MS Word, Excel)
- High level of initiative and interpersonal skills

competent in Microsoft office. Registered nurse with a Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, currently licensed in NJ. CPR/AED certification required. Behavioral Health experience,
as well as, ACLS a plus.

Occupational Nurse Practitioner Position
Managing the day to day operations of an on-site medical clinic in collaboration with the company physician.
Duties include evaluation and treatment of all workplace injuries ordering diagnostic testing and facilitating
referrals when necessary, routine drug screening and post offer employment physicals.
Other duties include assisting the Safety and Human Resource Departments in employee injury prevention and
management, facilitating OSHA and DOT mandated compliance programs and management of workers compensation claims.
Requirements:
Current state license and/or board certification as NP or PA-C in the state of NJ (depending on location of position, prescriptive authority, ability to apply for DEA# etc)
Occupational health experience preferred but not required. Basic computer knowledge preferred.

Join our high volume faced- paced Occupational Health Center located in Chilton Memorial’s Corporate Health Network Building in Pompton Plains, N.J.
Requirements:
- Current New Jersey RN license.
- Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing with the completion of a masters degree level nurse practitioner course of study.
- Current ANCC or other nationally recognized certification as a nurse practioner
- Certification by the NJBON as an advanced practice nurse.
- Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred.
- Certifications in OSHA, Hearing Conservation and Breath Alcohol Testing as well as appropriate training specific for occupational health practice preferred.
- BCLS required, ACLS preferred.
- Minimum 5 years RN experience with 3 years in area of specialty.
Responsibilities:
- Care of patients both adult and adolescent in busy high volume Occupational Health/Employee Health Services department.
- Define and develop the patient’s medical plan of care.
- Perform history and physical examinations.
- Order and interpret laboratory, diagnostic tests and other procedures- X-rays, EKG, etc.
- Refers to specialty services and orders consultations as approved by collaborating physician.
- Makes patient care decisions, and prescribes therapeutic interventions as per collaborative practice agreement.
- Provides patient/family health education, promotion and health screening.
