Our client, a large, charitable, non- profit hospital system in Southern New Jersey currently
operating at 421 beds, is recruiting a Director of Occupational Health to oversee and direct all
day to day activities of two practice sites. They currently maintain 61% of the market share in
providing medical services for more than 700 employers in the area.
Reporting to the VP of Ambulatory Care, they are seeking an individual with entrepreneurial
focus to develop and implement market growth strategies. This position will also seek ways in
which to increase patient satisfaction scores and establish their occupational health services
as a cutting edge model. Evaluating operational costs and implementing steps to improve
effectiveness is another key priority.
Candidates should have earned a Master’s degree in health related field or Bachelors’ degree
with at least 4 years supervisory experience. National certification in an Occupation Health
related field is preferred as is experience working in a national, for-profit Occupational Health
Company.

Site Nursing Coordinator
This position reports to the Associate Corporate Medical Director, promotes the health and safety of BASF Florham Park employees through managing the health surveillance
program and meeting regulatory requirements, rendering nursing care to the ill and injured, and directing emergency medical response. The Site Nursing Coordinator regularly
consults with BASF personnel from other BASF sites to assist them with BASF Medical program implementation. The Site Nursing Coordinator is a representative to employees,
their managers, and the local medical community.

We are seeking a Full time Health Center Supervisor-Registered Nurse to join our client’s occupational health center in Secaucus, NJ!
This is a single RN unit. The qualified candidate will be responsible for providing our client’s employees with occupational health services, which will include OSHA log recordkeeping and recording, facilitation and management of Worker’s Compensation cases and wellness program facilitation and execution.
This health center is open from Monday-Friday from 9a-5p. No weekends, holidays or on-call!
Responsibilities include:
- Dual role combines clinical, professional expertise (i.e. RN) and supervisory responsibilities
- Fulfills the job expectations of a Clinician (Medical/Technical resource) dedicating an agreed upon percentage of time to clinical duties
- Manages daily operations, workflow, work schedules, timecard monitoring etc. to ensure efficient and effective health center performance
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and presents resolutions and recommendations to the Director of Site Operations
- Makes recommendations regarding staffing model based on objective scheduling & volume analysis – presents to Director of Site Operations for approval
- Understands and complies with all regulatory, procedural, policy and licensing requirements
- Completes incident reports as needed and provides assistance to Medical Care and outcomes dept regarding investigations and the resolution of complaints
- Communicates and coordinates corporate messages and ensures implementation of policies or procedures is followed
- Coaches and provides feedback to staff on a regular basis
- Manages internal budget, reviews expenses, purchases supplies, inventories equipment, medication etc.
- Assists in the identification and use of local per diems to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met
- Works collaboratively with the Medical Leader at the site to manage internal site issues

Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred
- Current New Jersey state licensure as a Registered Nurse (or license eligible)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support is required through the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association; ACLS certification preferred
- Current as a Certified Occupational Health Nurse, preferred
- At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience working in an occupational health clinic, emergency room or urgent care, strongly preferred
- Case Management experience, strongly preferred
