2008 NJSAOHN Scholarships

Webster’s Dictionary defines scholarship as “a grant in aid awarded to a student for the purpose of gaining knowledge” and every year the NJAOHN chapter is able to provide scholarship money to our members for the purpose of gaining knowledge whether it be through membership in the AAOHN or through attendance at an educational presentation. This year is no different.

The scholarship program is designed to:

·        Promote professional excellence through education

·        Expand your knowledge of occupational and environmental health nursing in areas such as safety, environmental, human resources, health benefits, case management

·        Share best practices with colleagues

The Board of Directors sponsors the Founder’s Scholarship , three (3) $200.00 awards to honor the dedication of the nurses who founded the state organization and now to assist members in their pursuit of educational goals.
